The Olmsted 38 takes its namesake from conservationist and founder of landscape architecture, Frederick Law Olmsted – an avid believer in the need of natural public space in society. Olmsted is responsible for designing many of the public parks in the United States; notably, Central Park in New York City, and Jackson Park in Chicago. Throughout a fascinating life, Olmsted pushed for the protection of Yosemite Valley, created the parkway, the integrated park system, and also founded the precursor to the Red Cross.
Meticulously handcrafted timepieces. Functional, understated design.
We've combined our iconic full numeral sandwich dial with orange-accented cardinal minute indicators to form a distinctly legible, functional design.
With 10atm of water resistance (100m/330ft.), a screw down crown, and a finely brushed 316L stainless steel case with drilled lugs, The Olmsted 38 is manufactured to perform in any field.
Some folks prefer the symmetry of a no date, and others prefer the convenience of having the date on their wrist. Either way, we’ve got you covered.
The Olmsted 38 is presented in an efficient, canvas watch wallet with leather accents, two gusseted suede watch pockets, and a zippered closure. Ideal for when saving space and weight are essential, our canvas watch wallet was designed right here in Chicago.
Powering the Olmsted 38 is either the ETA 2892A2 or the Sellita SW300. Both are Swiss-made, rugged, workhorse calibers with a 42-hour power reserve and our iconic 4-star rotor design. Time-tested dependability and remarkable accuracy on your wrist.
The community that we've created together is one full of folks curious about the world, people who are experts in their fields and always in the pursuit of knowledge. I want to start sharing those stories with you.
