The Olmsted 38 is a classic, automatic winding, 38mm field watch with a two-layer sandwich dial, 10 ATM (100m / 330ft), screw-down crown, and inner minute track with orange cardinal numeral accents.

The Olmsted 38 takes its namesake from conservationist and founder of landscape architecture, Frederick Law Olmsted – an avid believer in the need of natural public space in society. Olmsted is responsible for designing many of the public parks in the United States; notably, Central Park in New York City, and Jackson Park in Chicago. Throughout a fascinating life, Olmsted pushed for the protection of Yosemite Valley, created the parkway, the integrated park system, and founded the precursor to the Red Cross.

The engine powering The Olmsted 38 is the legendary, Swiss-made, ETA 2892A2, a workhorse calibre with 21 jewels, a substantial 42-hour power reserve, and our iconic 4-star rotor design – a subtle nod to our hometown of Chicago.

We’re proud of our Horween leather straps and the craftsmanship that goes into them. From the hand-beveled edges with applied water-based dye to the hidden orange stitching on the floating keeper, our leather strap tapers from 20mm to 18mm at the buckle for a comfortable fit.

Our stainless steel bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist with a fully articulated link design that gradually tapers from the 20mm solid end links to the 16mm buckle.

The bracelet has 7 removable links and 5 micro-adjustments on the locking clasp. The bracelet will fit wrists from 6.2 inches to 9.1 inches (158mm - 231mm).

Stunning and different in a good way!

With so many micro-brand choices out there, the Olmsted 38 really stands out. I find it unique and classic at the same time. And the NAVY color, just stunning. A real eye catcher!

Lastly, BUY THE SELLER! O&O really care about the details. It is very evident throughout the buying process! No doubt, I'll be a REPEAT customer!

This is one classy wrist watch

Order processing and shipment was very quick. I am so impressed with this watch. The number cut outs of the top black dial against the luminescent inner dial make this watch so easy to read in bright daylight or just about any low light situation, even when the luminescent isn't charged. And when it is charged, the blue glow is pleasing to stare at, very claiming. I really like the font and size of the numbers, very easy on my eyes. The 38mm size complements my smaller wrist very well. I did swap out the thicker watch strap with a slightly shorter much thinner dark brown suede leather strap to better fit my small wrist. I also added a chrome plated deployment clasp. Altogether, this is one classy wrist watch. A classy watch for all occasions.

You need to own one to truly understand....

....then once you understand you end up with all 3 Olmsted colors like me. LOL

I recently purchased the blue dial variant to complete the trio and as a birthday present from me, to me. I love everything about the Olmsted - The stylistic orange seconds hand, the sandwich dial, the simplicity, the fit, the finish, the wearability, the accuracy, the personal touches, packaging, etc... Frick'n Frick this watch is awesome.

You know the type of watch you admire for several seconds, then look up and you still have no clue what time it really is! Yeah it's that beautiful to my eyes.

O&O is a great brand backed up with stand up blokes. When you look at the whole package, I truly believe you get what you pay for. These watch are foreverwaches in my collection.

    Thanks Chase and friends.

    Great Watch

Good dial - got both bracelets. Leather is a great casual look, the metal bracelet makes it appear more luxury. Wore it out last weekend and got talking watches with someone, he had on a nice Seiko, he asked about my watch and said he's heard about them and likes O&A but hadn't seen one out in the wild - he was pretty happy to see it. Hopefully, we'll have more of these out in the wild soon.
