IN THE NEWS: StrapHabit Reviews the Humboldt GMT
Nick Lehner, founder of well-known strap purveyor, StrapHabit, recently had the opportunity to go hands-on with the Humboldt GMT! Armed with a loaner GMT courtesy of our friend, Random Rob, Nick got some quality wrist time with our adventure watch.
“Clean” is the word of the day when it comes to describing the white dial variant. The Oak & Oscar logo is “clean and simple” which makes for a compelling counterbalance on the second hand. “The matte white dial resembles a clean sheet of white paper,” and “minimal, clean text is symmetric down the dial.” This design makes the white dial GMT a real strap monster (I can recommend a good site if you’re in the market 😉).
Nick also noted the perfect proportions of the watch, writing that “it’s a good size to have wrist presence without feeling too large.” Other highlights include the slim quick-adjust clasp with a “solid and secure” latch, anti-mag and anti-shock features, and the overall “high-quality feel and construction.”
We’re glad you loved your time with the Humboldt GMT, Nick, and thanks for the review!
