IN THE NEWS: Fratello Reviews the Atwood Chronograph

We’re thrilled about the newest addition to our Signature Collection, the Atwood chronograph! And we’re delighted that our friends at Fratello have featured our new watch on their site.

In his review, Michael Stockton applauded Oak & Oscar’s quality at a reasonable price point: “...the finishing and quality control can compete with anything double the price…Hats off to the brand on this one. It’s a refreshing release.”

One of the most appealing features of the Atwood is the innovative Sellita AMT5100M caliber that beats away inside its 39mm case: “The new Atwood utilizes an unusual [caliber] with the Sellita AMT5100M, a hand-wound chronograph with a column wheel…In addition to 58 hours of power reserve, it offers a flyback function. The caliber is visible via the screw-in display case back, and while it’s not a vintage-style movement with multiple bridges, there is striping and the Oak & Oscar signature.”

In contrast to our previous chronograph, the Jackson, “this new model has a three-register design…Another change is that the dials contain sandwich-layered Super-LumiNova indices instead of applied metal ones.”

Stockton notes that the Atwood is an “evolved design” and that the “case size should make it appealing to a wide range of audiences too.”

Thanks for the kind words, Michael! We couldn't be happier with this new release.
