Every stone used in the Olympics comes from a single quarry in Scotland, and each of these limited edition watches contains a slice of that same Ailsa Craig granite.
The caseback stones are cut to fit from a single curling rock by a lapidary in California. The craftsman transforms the stone from a massive hunk of granite into precise, watch-size discs.
Each steel stone setting is hand-machined by Nathan on a vintage Derbyshire Elect lathe, cut and bored with a hand-ground tungsten carbide cutter to tolerances of just hundredths of a millimeter. Right here in our Chicago headquarters.
Each watch is hand-assembled, tested and regulated at our Chicago headquarters by our head in-house watchmaker and Director of Watchmaking, Nathan. We’re very proud to continue the tradition of watchmaking here in the US and are dedicated to the art, craft and a little touch of mad-science that is horology.

Founded in 1856, ETA has over 150 years of experience crafting some of the most accurate and reliable movements in the world.
