James Stacey Discusses the Atwood on the Worn & Wound Podcast
We recently had the pleasure of unveiling the new Atwood chronograph in the metal at the Chicago edition of the 2024 Windup Watch Fair. We were so excited to finally give folks an opportunity to go hands-on with our new watch. And we were absolutely thrilled with the response!
People couldn’t get over the tri-compax dial design, the crisp pusher action, and the spot-on proportions.
But don’t just take our word for it. James Stacey, well-known to those in the watch world as a longtime editor at Hodinkee and co-founder of The Grey Nato (TGN) podcast, had some choice words to say about the Atwood.
Every year for Windup Chicago, TGN teams up with the folks at Worn & Wound for a joint podcast recorded live from the event. During the live W&W portion of the show, James singled out the Atwood as one of the standouts of the show.
At the 24-minute mark, James says: “Oak & Oscar has a new chronograph, and the case is perfect! It’s a small case that has enough weight and heft, and it just kind of wraps around your wrist in a way I like.”
Thanks for the kind words, James! It’s rewarding when people resonate with something you’ve put a lot of time and effort into designing.
