In the News: The Grey NATO III

The day before we taped the latest Grey NATO podcast James came up to me and said, and I'm paraphrasing here..."This will be your third time on the show! Did you know that only one other person has been on three times? Cole Pennington." 

Obviously, James relayed this info to me in his way cooler, more Canadian kind of charm that he has, but regardless of my poor paraphrasing, I was floored. I mean, whoa. What an honor! I'm not quite sure if I've earned that honor or not but hot damn I'm gonna take it! 

It's always a pleasure to sit down with the TGN guys—they have an effortlessly cool demeanor and always make you feel good. I look up to them. I genuinely do. I want to be that guy who folks feel better about themselves after a chat, even a quick hello. Anyway, back to the point before we get way off topic! I love what they're doing and am so thankful for their continued support. 

We chatted about getting the new Subaru Outback, maybe selling my 2004 Land Rover D2, what it's like as a newish fly fisherman and of course, watches.
