Powering the Humboldt GMT is the Swiss-made Sellita SW330, a rugged and reliable movement that combines time-tested dependability and remarkable accuracy. A quick-set adjustment allows you to independently set the 24-hour hand to simultaneously track multiple time zones. With a power reserve of 56 hours, quick-set date, 25 jewels and our iconic 4-star rotor all tucked in securely behind a protective solid caseback, we’re confident this movement will live up to the demands of the Humboldt GMT Owner. 

Our Horween leather straps are made by a true craftsman. From the hand-beveled edges with applied water-based dye to the hidden orange stitching on the floating keeper, our leather strap tapers from 20mm to 18mm at the buckle for a comfortable fit.

Our stainless steel bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist with a fully articulated link design that gradually tapers from the 20mm solid end links to the 16mm buckle. The bracelet has 7 removable links and a six position quick-adjust, locking clasp. Yup, that means no tools required to adjust the fit on the fly! The bracelet will fit wrists from 6.3 inches to 9.1 inches (160mm - 231mm).

Can't stop wearing it!

So glad to have discovered Oak & Oscar right here in Chicago. Had an awesome time visiting HQ and meeting Chase, Greg, and Nate. Great guys who are making awesome watches, and have excellent taste in bourbon which makes a visit to HQ even more fun!

The quality and finishing of the watch is fantastic, particularly at the price point, and its shockingly comfortable. The matte blue sandwich dial is gorgeous, particularly in the sunlight, and has some nice depth to it. The dial is angled to conform nicely to the wrist, and the bracelet is highly adjustable so you can get the perfect fit. The functionality is great, with the bezel action being notably high quality. This is a true GADA, daily driver type of watch.

I only wish I knew about Oak & Oscar earlier, as despite having several other (more expensive) watches in my collection, I can't stop wearing my Humboldt GMT...and commenting to my wife what time it is in other cities (much to her dismay). Maybe most importantly, the Humboldt GMT is pup-approved as well!

A Special Gift to Myself...

As my 50th birthday approaches, I wanted to invest in a quality watch as a gift to myself. My search didn't take too long to land on the Oak & Oscar Humboldt GMT, and after a couple of conversations with Chase, the order was placed to arrive in time before a fly fishing trip to Brazil. So far this winter into spring, it's been along on multiple fly fishing trips and other travel, and I couldn't be more pleased with it.

The ability to easily change out straps allows me to dress up or dress down the watch with so many different options, from the stainless bracelet to the leather strap to nylon straps in several colors.

In short, this watch has already capped off a birthday that is still a few months away.

The Humboldt GMT

I waited 2 years to buy an Oak and Oscar watch, and I wish I didn’t wait so long. It exceeds all of my expectations in form and function. The watch is beautiful, and is the perfect size and weight. It might be time to get rid of my other watches, since I can’t take off my Humboldt GMT.

A solid, aesthetically designed watch with GMT functionality

White dial allows for easy read of watch hands. White dial is "crisp", "clean". Metal bracelet is very attractive. Clasp works well. I like the easy adjustability to tighten/loosen.
