Handcrafted, Horween leather strap. Includes signed buckle in brushed stainless steel.
We source leather from the Horween Leather Company, America’s oldest and best tannery, and work with expert leather artisans to make our rugged-yet-comfortable watch straps worthy of being attached to an Oak & Oscar watch.
Each 20mm strap is tapered and includes an 18mm stainless steel buckle with a tang that is engineered to sit level with the buckle. The buckle is signed on both the top and bottom and has a grooved channel on the underside to allow the leather strap to sit more flush and comfortably on the wrist.
We regularly visit Horween and scour the tannery for the perfect hides with the right thickness, feel and color to complement our timepieces. You will definitely notice and appreciate the level of detail, craftsmanship and quality of our straps.
Your strap will age and develop its own patina over time - each little scratch or mark in the leather will tell its own story! Please note that leather is a natural material and each hide has a personality of its own - markings, colorations and imperfections may vary with each item.

The craftsmanship of this strap is perfect. The leather is the right thickness, the stitching is flawless, and the buckle design is well thought out. Like others have mentioned, it is more brown than "dark olive green" but it still looks fantastic on the grey dial.
I’m usually a NATO or bracelet guy, so I don’t have many leather straps to compare this to. The quality is great, though, and the signed buckle is a nice touch. Thick enough to match the watch and feel substantial, but not so thick it’s cumbersome. Looking forward to see how it patinas over the next several months. Overall, this seems like a solid buy so far—the price is what I would expect for a quality leather strap. May add some additional colors in the future.
The leather is so thick and supple, and the buckle is also good quality. I got it for a non-O&O watch but look forward to getting my Olmsted hopefully later this year. Maybe there is individual color variation but it seems there is little/no green -- just a rich dark brown.
the dark green strap looks better with the grey dial olmsted watch than the original lt brown strap (in my opinion)

If you’re already an owner, you know these straps are very good. (If you aren’t, go buy a Humboldt. The owner experience with Chase is special. I bought this strap in part out of gratitude for a wonderful, owners-only virtual whiskey tasting.) I will say, if you’re looking at the photo on the website and thinking the strap isn’t very green, you’re right. When I opened this, I would have sworn it was brown. But after holding it next to an actual brown strap, I could see the subtle olive greenish tone. I wasn’t sure when I ordered it, but now seeing it in person, I really love the look.
