Powering the Humboldt GMT is the Swiss-made Sellita SW330, a rugged and reliable movement that combines time-tested dependability and remarkable accuracy. A quick-set adjustment allows you to independently set the 24-hour hand to simultaneously track multiple time zones. With a power reserve of 56 hours, quick-set date, 25 jewels and our iconic 4-star rotor all tucked in securely behind a protective solid caseback, we’re confident this movement will live up to the demands of the Humboldt GMT Owner. 

Our Horween leather straps are made by a true craftsman. From the hand-beveled edges with applied water-based dye to the hidden orange stitching on the floating keeper, our leather strap tapers from 20mm to 18mm at the buckle for a comfortable fit.

Our stainless steel bracelet sits comfortably on the wrist with a fully articulated link design that gradually tapers from the 20mm solid end links to the 16mm buckle. The bracelet has 7 removable links and a six position quick-adjust, locking clasp. Yup, that means no tools required to adjust the fit on the fly! The bracelet will fit wrists from 6.3 inches to 9.1 inches (160mm - 231mm).

My New Go Anywhere, Do Anything

I was immediately happy with the look, weight, and feel of my new Humboldt GMT. The bracelet finishing is great, and I've learned to love the OTF micro-adjust even more than another I have because I don't even have to take the watch off to adjust it. The sandwich dial is simple, elegant, classy, and the mix of numerals and "baton" cutouts is lovely. The blue lume under the white dial is bright enough and lasts all night. The watch keeps incredibly good time (better than my COSC Longines), and I just couldn't be happier. I just took it on a trip to Costa Rica and was able to use the bezel to finally need to keep track of 3 time zones. It also looks terrific on all the other straps I have for it. Can't recommend it enough :)

Simply Lovely!

Yes, this is Max Verstappen's catch phrase, but just like Max this watch is a champion! This may get a little long, bear with me.

I started collecting in April of 2025. As time went on and I learned more about watches, manufacturers and the culture I started looking for a piece that wouldn't be recognizable like my Omegas, Tudors, Rolex's, etc. My criteria was simple, a high quality watch that was built with passion. I came across Oak and Oscar while doing some reading of an Article from Teddy Baldassarre. I spent almost 9 months researching every single independent on Teddy's list before I chose O&O. I had the Humboldt GMT near the top of my list from the beginning.

Let me be crystal clear, I could not be more impressed. From the email at 10PM on a Friday night from Chase thanking me for the purchase, to the subtle yet thoughtfully curated presentation kit to the simple, modern and clean dial, just perfect.

I don't care if this is your first "real" watch purchase, or you have AP's & Patek's in your collection, I am highly confident that you will enjoy this watch.

GMT + 2 Life

After almost 3 years of indecision, I finally pulled the trigger on the blue dial Humboldt GMT. Suffice to say, I should have made this purchase long ago. It’s a truly great watch. The dial is simple in the best way, lume could be a bit brighter but that is nitpicking. It dresses up and down with ease. Micro adjust on the bracelet is easy and intuitive, a nice touch. Oak and Oscar doesn’t quote accuracy on movements (presumably from contract requirements with supplier) but in a month’s use, I’ve found it well within COSC standards. Very impressive. Received many compliments so far and proud to say I’m wearing a watch from the U.S.

I also did a custom engraving and the process was a bit drawn out, but the end product was definitely well worth the wait. Greg and Chase are professionals and clearly proud of the watches produced. Customer service was excellent. Overseas now, but next time I’m in Chicagoland, I plan on stopping in for introductions and raising a toast to the Humboldt. Prost from Limburg!

Cutthroat Special

This is a wonderful watch. And the painting is beyond my expectations. Have not enjoyed an item of personal kit this much in many years. Oak & Oscar are a class act.
