$1,550.00

A rugged 40mm, Swiss-powered automatic watch with 20ATM water resistance and an external, rotating 12-hour bezel that’s built to discover. Comes on our hand-made, Horween leather strap that tapers from 20mm to 18mm at the buckle.

The Humboldt is a rugged, 40mm, Swiss-powered automatic watch with a 42-hour power reserve, 20 ATM (200 meters) of water resistance, and an external, rotating 12-hour bezel.

The engine powering the Humboldt is the legendary, Swiss-made, ETA 2892A2, a workhorse calibre with 21 jewels, a substantial 42-hour power reserve, and the iconic Oak & Oscar 4-star rotor design. Founded in 1856, ETA has over 150 years of experience crafting some of the most accurate and reliable movements in the world.

We’re proud of our Horween leather straps and the craftsmanship that goes into them. From the hand-beveled edges with applied water-based dye to the hidden orange stitching on the floating keeper, our leather strap tapers from 20mm to 18mm at the buckle for a comfortable fit.

Stunning!

I can’t say enough good things about this. The watch is gorgeous, the grey face was what drew me to this watch to start with, and it doesn’t disappoint. I got it with NATO and leather straps, and keep changing as I love the look of all of them. And that is just the start. The watch wallet, the customer service approach, the quality. Oak & Oscar have won a fan for life!

Exceeds Expectations...as does the personal experience.

The design first drew me to this watch. And it's even more gorgeous in person.

The sandwich dial, the meticulously-crafted numbers and the hour indicators on the bezel all make this watch stand out from a crowded watch industry, and particularly the microbrands out there.

The metal bracelet is by far the most comfortable bracelet I have used. I've had a Tags, Baume & Mericer, Squale, and Baltic, and this bracelet crushes (not to say I didn't like those other watches, this bracelet is just noticeably comfy).

The nylon straps are also the highest quality I've come across so far. Incredibly soft and durable nylon.

Chase is also a very personable guy who makes your purchase a uniquely-personal experience. He gets what it means to connect with his clients, and it shows.

Looking forward to seeing what this company does in the years to come.

Great Watch

I am really enjoying this amazing watch. It has become my everyday piece that seems to be withstanding what ever I throw at it. It keeps accurate timekeeping. Plus the customer service has been outstanding. What are you waiting for just buy one for yourself.

Rolex collects the dust!

I knew I was going to love this watch even before I got it. Chase really has perfected the art of steel bracelets. The bracelet is so comfortable on the wrist. The light weight of the watch makes it an easy everyday wear. The beautiful gray background compliments the orange in the dial, not vice versa in my opinion. My rolex is definitely collecting dust while the humboldt enjoys some wrist time. Highly recommended watch in my opinion. Also love that I get to use the bezel to track the time zone my mom happens to be in during her travels 😊

You Think It's Gorgeous In The Photo? Just Wait Until It's On Your Wrist.

That's it. That's the review.

Okay, kidding: not only is this the best-looking watch I now own, but also the lightest and most solid. Feels great on, too — I don't even know it's there, until somebody says "Hey! Awesome watch!" (Which has happened a *lot* in these first few days as a proud owner.) I'm not sure why I waited so long to get my first Oak & Oscar; I only know I now can't wait to get another.
